"No need for words except to say, loved and remembered every day."

Date passed: 9th of February 2020

Funeral date: 20th of February 2020

“No need for words except to say, loved and remembered every day.”

Peacefully in the care of Leighton Hospital, with her family by her side, aged 72 years. The beloved wife of the late Alec, dearest mum of Dawn and Tizzy, devoted nanna of Kirsten, Shaun, Maisie, Isabel and Faye, mother-in-law and sister of Linda and the late Danny, who will be sadly missed and remembered with affection. Anita was born in Nantwich to parents Monica and Kenneth. She attended Manor Road school and after leaving school worked for Chatwins. Later becoming a childminder, but her full time job was as a home maker. She enjoyed sewing and crosswords and absolutely loved her border collie dogs. Anita was a sociable person with a dry sense of humour, an inspiration to others with a kind heart.

Whilst in St Catherine’s Nursing Home for rest bite, she couldn’t use her legs as they were so weak. So to build herself up she asked her daughter to bring in cleaning products into the Nursing Home. She used her zimmer frame to clean and take cups of tea and coffee to the other residents.

Her funeral will take place on Thursday 20th February in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 12.15pm. Family flowers only please. Donations made in memory of Anita will be gratefully received for Parkinson`s UK.
