Brian passed away in the care of Leighton Hospital on the 2nd February, knowing that he was loved and cared for by his devoted family, aged 70 years.

The loving husband of Sandra, devoted dad of Angela, Adele, Wayne, Steven and Andrew, cherished grandad of Vicki, Georgia, Ruby, Abbey and Jasmin and darling brother of Jenny and good friend to many, Brian will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Brian was born on Monday 2nd May 1949 in Chapman Street, Hull. He attended Chapman Street school and laterly the Naval School for Trinity House.

He had a variety of jobs, including in construction, a bouncer, a prison officer. He also worked on the oil rigs in Norway. He eventually ended up back in the construction business where he worked his way up to the position of construction director for Barrett MacAlpine. He also oversaw a 20 million pound development on Merseyside with Prinston Building.

Brian played a lot of rugby in his younger days. He was a kind hearted man, funny, with a great sense of humour, he would always be taking people under his wing.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe on Monday 17th February at 2.30pm, followed by cremation.

Donations in Brian’s memory will be gratefully received on behalf of Chance and St. Luke’s Hospice.

    Brian always had time for everyone. He gave so much of himself to our local community in Crewe. I will never forget his commitment, generosity and kindness. Thinking of his family at this sad time
