David Paul Livesley “Diddy”

"No need for words except to say, loved and remembered every day"

Date passed: 25th of April 2018

Funeral date: 9th of May 2018

“No need for words except to say, loved and remembered every day.”

David passed away peacefully in the care of St. Luke’s, Winsford on 25 April, aged just 54 years of age. He was the beloved son of Kathleen and the late Richard, cherished brother of Michael and Karen and treasured uncle of Anthony, Johnny, Danny, Lorna and Luke.

Diddy was born on 8th September 1963 to proud parents Kathleen and the late Richard in Hope Street, Crewe.

He attended St. Mary’s and The Blessed John Sheard schools (now St. Thomas More) and he was very popular with his classmates.

He was in the Army Cadets and played the bugle for them, this gave him a sense of belonging.

His working life took him to a cheese factory, Tom Hales butchers and then on to Rolls Royce (Bentley). But most would say he found his home of work at the town council where he became a builder and pavement constructor.

Dave’s friends said that he worked hard and played hard. He loved to socialise and had many friends in the Cheese Hall, the Grand Junction and the Hop Pole.

He kept his sense of humour till the last, he loved watching Only Fools And Horses, it’s irony and quick-witted humour suited him.

In the last few years Dave has fought a brave battle but has left his mum, Kathleen, his family and friends an ocean of memories.

GOODNIGHT  AND GOD BLESS DIDDY

Dave’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 9th May in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 12noon. For any further information regarding Dave’s funeral please contact our funeral home on 01270 584447.

You were a fighter to the end Dave. I know you are pain free now. But for selfish reasons I wish you were still here. Me you and Mick were the three musketeers and now we are two. You will never be forgotten, you will live on in our memories. So sleep tight till we all met again. Love you to the moon and back. Your only sister kaz xxx
