Leo gave me my first job and it taught me two things. The world didn’t owe me a living and I couldn’t drive a dump truck.
It was a pleasure years later after I had graduated as a pilot with British Airways to host Leo in the cockpit for a flight up to Scotland and he told me he was proud of me.
It meant more to me than any flying instructor saying the same thing.
Rest in peace Leo you were a true gent.
