Peacefully at The Llanidloes District War Memorial Hospital , aged 70 years. Wendy the loving wife of Peter,  dearest mum of Joanne and Karl, devoted nan of Liam and Imogen and a cherished sister and sister-in-law, who will be sadly missed and remembered with affection.

Her funeral will take place on Monday 24th September at St Peter’s Church, Minshull Vernon at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Crewe. Family flowers only please, donations gratefully received for The Llanidloes and District War Memorial Hospital.

    I am really going to miss you Mum. Your advice, your help, your love, your messages every day and absolutely everything about you. You loved life and had such a happy one with my dad. You have left a big hole in our lives that will never be filled.
    Such a beautiful person inside and out who has left me with a whole heap of memories that are always mine to keep.

    Aunty Wendy, not enough words can truly show how much light you brought into all of our lives. You filled my life with so much love and laughter, I will never forget that amazing infectious laugh, nor the amazing memories you helped me create. You touched my life in more ways than you’ll ever know. Accepting everyone for who they are, you truly are a diamond and came to be our Goodwin Queen Bee.

    You were taken far too soon nan and I miss you so much already, it hurts like hell, but knowing that you’re no longer suffering and in pain makes the heartache slightly better. You are not only just my nan but my bestest friend. We made so so many special memories that no one can ever take from me.     I send heart felt condolences to Wendys family. It was an absolute pleasure to know you Wendy. You were beautiful inside and out. Our cruise on Azura together was fab. You and Pete kept us laughing the whole time x I will miss speaking with you and both Gavin and I are so happy we got to see you last summer. Rest in peace and pain free now darling.
