Alan sadly passed away on 5th October in the care of Leighton Hospital, aged 70 years.
The beloved husband of Gail, loving father of Shirley, Kenneth, Jennifer and Robert. Also a cherished grandad of Max, Rosie and Dylan and dearest brother of Kevin, Pete and Norman. Alan will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by everyone who knew him.
Alan was born on Sunday 24th April 1949 in Manchester. He attended Victoria Avenue School and North Manchester Grammar. After his education he went on to work or The Post Office and British Telecom.
Alan was a big speedway fan and would often be found at Belle Vue cheering on his local team.
He was a very caring man who knew his own mind.
His funeral will take place on Thursday 17th October in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 10.40am, followed by cremation.

There are people who feature in our lives without ever meeting. You, and your family, Alan, were one of them. Over the decades that I’ve been friends with Shirl, many a conversation and a moment we’ve shared has included and reflected the love and relationship you were both blessed to share and enjoy throughout her life.
