Bryan Morrey

“You will stay with us in our dreams.”

Bryan sadly passed away in Leighton Hospital on 22nd April 2018, aged 85 years.

The beloved husband of the late Hilda and much loved dad of Julie, Paul and Simon. He was also a cherished grandad to Christopher, Helen, Matthew, Aimee, Melissa, Megan, Stacey, Abby and the late Philip and great grandad to James and Quinn. Also a loving father-in-law of Bob, Lesley and Carol.

Bryan was born on Tuesday 3rd May 1932 to proud parents Annie and Clement, the youngest of four children. He left school at 15 and worked for the Zan. By the time he was 21 he was in the Army where he trained as an industrial electrician. he was posted to Germany and Oxfordshire.

Bryan and Hilda met and two years later they were married. They were blessed with three children and after coming out of the army he took a job at Murgatroyds.

Bryan and Hilda loved their caravan holidays in Dawlish and all around Devon and Cornwall. In Easter Bank holiday 2000 he suffered a serious accident, where he nearly died due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Due to this accident Bryan and his family hold the Air Ambulance in high esteem. He enjoyed a game of darts, snooker, bowls and football but his real passion was cars, always giving them a polish and really looking after them.

Bryan’s funeral will take place on Thurdsay 3rd May in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 1.20pm.
