The sadness of losing yet another loved one to Cancer never gets any easier.
RIP to my godfather Lee, brave to the very end and very much loved.
I recall hearing his diagnosis last year and sent him the following message which I’ll share with you – with his love of motorcycling and racing history I think the words were perfect for him.

    Hi Lee
Mum has told me of your poor health and I wanted to let you know that you are very much in her and my thoughts during this difficult time. If you or Yvonne need anything at all then please just ask and I’ll be there to help.
Cancer sadly knows no track limits, has no respect for yellow, Red or even black flags, possesses no race licence and thinks it can invade anyone’s race at will.
Please try your best to remain upbeat no matter what the coming months throw at you and try to get out breathing the smell of burning rubber, two strokes and Castrol R ❤️????

We were so saddened when Lee began his treatment, yet always hopeful. The news of his passing was difficult to accept. We are especially disappointed that we were not able to attend his Celebration of Life and send all our Love and heartfelt Condolences to Yvonne and all the family. Lee and Yvonne had a very special connection so we send our strength to Yvonne, until we meet again; virtual hugs from Alex George and Linda Love is there ALWAYS….feel him in your heartbeat.
