David Thomas “Dave” Thompson

“He died as he lived with dignity and pride”

Peacefully at Leighton Hospital, knowing he was loved and cared for, aged 74 years. Beloved husband of Carol, devoted dad of Claire and Helena. Cherished grandad of Jamie and Rhianna, and a dear brother of Ken.

Dave will be remembered for his time at Chester Barrie Basting department, before moving to the Post Office and then at Rolls Royce, where he took early retirement. He then took up a part-time job at Safeways, which changed to Tesco, where he trained to work at the tills. He found he absolutly loved it. Talking to his own regular group of followers, who made a direct line for him, where he’d share tips and special offers to the customers.

Dave’s funeral will take place on Monday 28th January in the Crematorium Chapel at 11.20am, followed by cremation.
