“It is the darkest before the dawn.”
Diane sadly passed away on the 19th December in the care of Clarendon Court care home, aged just 50 years, surrounded by the love and care of her family.
Born on Sunday 23rd March 1969 to proud parents Brian and the late Ann, her other sisters Dawn (born in 1961), Debbie (born in 1967) and Kath (born in 1972) made the family complete.
Diane went to Underwood Lane school and finished her education at Ludford Street school, she was a popular girl with teachers and fellow pupils alike. After leaving school she got a job at Ringways garage on Macon Way in Crewe. She also worked for Genus before becoming a carer from home. She treated everyone with great respect and was known for her kindness. She was very popular with all her colleagues, wherever she worked.
Her son Kaden was the brightest star in her life, she absolutely doted on him. Although her passing is a particular tragedy for a young man of his age, he will and does have great memories of holidays at Butlins and Pontins. In the last year he has shared many precious moments with his mum and he knew that she loved him “to the moon and back.”
Diane was described by her family as a brave, gentle lady who could be feisty and knew her own mind. It is with great sadness the family are saying goodbye to someone so special.
Diane’s funeral will take place on Friday 3rd January in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 10.45am, followed by cremation.

So so sad to lose my friend Diane. She was an extremely kind and caring friend to everyone who knew her.
- Approved by oconnellShe was struck so devastatingly and so young with the illness she fought with such strength, giving her utmost, without ever complaining. She certainly was an inspiration to her friends and family. Kaden was her life, her joy. All she ever wanted was her own family. To be taken from him at such a young age is just tragic. I hope Kaden will do well with his life to make his Mummy proud, as she already was. Beaming whenever he was with her. Bye Diane. Joan, Allen and family
