Dominick Lynch “Danny”

“You are no more than a thought away”

Peacefully in the care of Leighton Hospital, aged 92 years. The loving husband of the late Mary, devoted dad of Mags, Kath and Tom, cherished grandad and great grandad.

Danny was born on Sunday February 1st 1925 in County Roscommon, Ireland and came to England for work, aged 21 years. He met Kate on the boat journey when visiting home and was married in 1950, staying 60 years together. Danny was a dedicated allotment owner and has won prizes for his efforts:

His funeral will take place at St Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception, Crewe, on Thursday 19th October at 11.00am, followed by interment. If donations are preferred, they will be gratefully received for the British Heart Foundation.
