- Approved by oconnellTo My Beautiful Husband. I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence I often call your name. All I have now are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory’s my keepsake with which I will never part. God has you in his keeping and I have you in my heart. To the best husband, father, grandfather taken far to young the house is not a home as you are not here I miss your smile and laugh and those beautiful blue eyes you always looked after me and loved me as I do you. - Approved by oconnellIvor, I will miss your voice as it was always happy and full of life, your laugh was so contagious. You were always concerned and interested in me and my family and never complained about your own problems or health issues. You could charm my mother, which was not always easy to do, and change her mood so she was putty in your hands. I loved you, your hugs, your wonderful sense of humour but most of all I will miss YOU!
- Approved by oconnellIvor, Wow where can I start, what a guy, one of the very last gentlemen. It was always so obvious to everyone how much he totally loved Karen, I grew up thinking, I hope I am lucky enough to meet someone that looks at me how Ivor looked at Karen, it was like there was no one else in the whole world.
- Approved by oconnellSuch a genuine, lovely, caring person, who cared so much about everyone and shared Karen’s and my love for animals. A true inspiration and what a fighter, you really showed life that you would still be you and live your life to the full with Karen by your side every step of the way.
I am so proud to be part of your family and you truly make me want to be stronger, just like you.
My uncle Ivor , who will always be a bright light and an inspiration to me, always…

- Approved by oconnellMy brother Ivor will be forever in our hearts
- Approved by oconnellWe spoke on the telephone just days before he peacefully passed away, we laughed as we always did
Our thoughts are with Karen & my brothers family Jamie Stephen & Jenny & especially his granddaughter Esmee whom Ivor absolutely adored.
Ivor & Linda his sister were both born in London where we shared a railway cottage with just about enough room for two let alone Mum Dad Denise Elaine Myself and Kim, but we were happy kids
Ivor once dived off a board into a pool & I regretfully followed him & all eye’s on me to follow Ivor’s lunacy dare, & I didn’t know what was worse, turning back and being humiliated or take the plunge,
Anyway nothing to prove I took a leap of faith!
But that was our kid with an infectious laugh we will miss so much
He was dearly loved by Karen & everyone that knew him
All our love for eternity ♥️♥️
Julie & Ed brother & sister in law
