Jim was born on Friday 24th April 1936 and raised in Crewe. He was raised with Margaret who has since passed away.

His career as an engineer was working in the erecting shop at Crewe Works for many years and was known as someone who worked hard at his trade.

Jim married Brenda in 1961 at the Congregational Church in Hightown, Crewe, they had two children, Stephen in 1963 and Claire in 1970.

He enjoyed family holidays North Wales and England and loved coach trips.

He was part of Crewe Male Voice Choir when he was younger. Jim retired in the 80’s due to ill health but still enjoyed his aviary of birds and DIY.

It was on Wednesday 7th March that Jim gently passed away at Leighton Hospital with the love of his family around him aged 81 years.

His funeral will take place on Thursday 22nd March in Crewe Cemetery Chapel at 12.40pm followed by burial in Crewe Cemetery.
