Jean Elizabeth Bostock

You can shed tears that she is gone, Or you can smile because she has lived

Date passed: 5th of August 2018

Funeral date: 14th of August 2018

“You can shed tears that she is gone, Or you can smile because she has lived”

Suddenly but very peacefully, on Sunday 5th August, Jean aged 67 years, passed away in the care of Primrose House Nursing Home.

The beloved wife of Philip, a loving mum of Rachel, a dear mother-in-law of Tim, a treasured grandma of Emily and Jacob and a treasured sister and friend.

Jean was quiet natured and had four sisters. She excelled at school at needlework and went to work  at CWS clothing factory when she left school. Jean also cared for the elderly and housebound in their homes.

She met her future husband Philip at Warmingham Grange and they were married in 1972 at St Michaels in Crewe.

Jean and philip gave birth to Rachel and remained close to her sisters often going on holiday with Margaret.

She was thrilled to become a grandma to Emily and Jacob and loved looking after them when they were little.

Sadly Jean succumbed to Alzheimers in her late fifties and latterly she was being cared for at Primrose House Care home as her needs became too complex to continue living at home. She died unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep.

Jean’s funeral will take place in Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday 14th August at 12noon. Any donations in her memory will be gratefully received for the Alzheimers Society.
