John passed away peacefully in the care of Leighton Hospital on 25th October 2021 aged 86 years.
The beloved Husband of Eunice. Much loved Dad to Stephen, Jackie & Kevin. Also a cherished Grandad, Great Grandad and Good Friend.
Many will remember his service to Lloyds Bank, his time in the 4th South West Cheshire, becoming Group Scout Leader in the 18th South West Cheshire District, also his love for the Gang Show & John’s service to Age UK.
His funeral will take place at St Andrews Church, Crewe on Thursday 11th November at 12noon followed by Cremation.

A dear friend of 60 years standing, so many happy memories of Scouting in SW Cheshire, and family holidays and events. Loved John’s tales from all walks of life heard some of them many times over but they always seemed fresh and made me laugh all over again. A truly lovely man, never heard anyone say a bad word about him, a truly Christian man and a good Scout who lived out his beliefs. Rest in peace dear friend and sing with the angels.
