Julie Patton
“Not just today, but a lifetime through, we will always treasure memories of you”
Peacefully at the Royal Stoke University Hospital on Saturday 17th March, Julie aged 57 years.
The dear wife of David and step-mum of Jade and her husband Pete. Julie will be so sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her
Julie was born and bred here in Crewe at her nans house to her proud parents John and June. She was brought up with her older brother and attended School on Ludford Street.
At school she liked to play hockey….(or the be the goalie to be precise), and being small, she couldn’t walk properly in the shin pads they had to carry her to the goal posts.
Starting as a trainee hairdresser, Julie worked at Alexandra James, eventually opening up her own business with a business partner on West Street, training others and passing on her knowledge of hairdressing. Julie loved her work with the public and indulged herself with a good ald natter or a moan.
Julie met her long term partner David whilst working at the salon and they’ve remained together ever since.
Recently she has not been well and was diagnosed with cancer.
David and Julie decided that the time was right to marry and they were married at her bedside in the Royal Stoke Hospital shortly before she death.
Julie’s funeral will take place in Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday 4th April at 10.40am. Donation in Julies memory are for Ward 218 at The Royal Stoke University Hospital who cared for her so well in her final days.
