**********************************************************************************************************

Kath was a devoted mum, much loved by Michael, Paul, Hayley and Kirsty, close to
Stacey, Kerry, Richard and Dave, she was a doting nan to Tyler, Reece Mason,
Daylan, Mia, Kyan, Mya, Riley and Hannah.
She always claimed to love her dogs more than her kids. She classed them as
brothers and sisters to the four kids Hayley said her mum used to send a text saying
“it’s your sister’s birthday today and Hayley thought her mum meant Kirsty but it was
one of the dogs.
There was never a dull moment whenever she Kath was around, she was never very
serious and laughed at anything. She was a kind, caring, thoughtful, confident lady,
with a strong character. She was only short, and even though Paul was three times
the size of her, but she could still have a go! Definitely not one to be messed with,
she took rubbish from no-one. She was straight talking but very well respected.
Kath was a much loved daughter to Michael and the late Margaret, also a dear sister
to George and niece to Debbie, she adored her family and just as she was the centre
of their world, her world revolved around them all.
She and Hayley were the female version of Max and Paddy and went everywhere
together but she did manage to divide her time between them all.
Paul said she always did her absolute best, as has their dad, both incredibly hard
working and up at the crack of dawn, they made the perfect team, proud with a
beautiful home.
She and Paul met through Kath’s brother at the age of twelve and have been
together ever since, blessed with thirty years of marriage last August.
They got engaged when she was twenty-two then exchanged their lasting vows a
year later on 10th August 1991.
If Kath was your friend, you were truly lucky, she was loyal, considerate, dependable
and loved socialising.
Kath struggled with illness but the ceremony focused on celebrating her life and
remembering the good times. The family take comfort she is out of pain and happy
with her beloved mum who passed in 2010 long before Kath was ready to say
goodbye.

May she rest in peace
