Leslie passed away peacefully in the care of Leighton Hospital on 12th February, aged 90 years.
The beloved husband of Iris, much loved dad of Paul and Darren. Also a cherished grandad and great grandad and a dearest brother.
Les was the Mayor of Crewe in 1987. He also served as a Crewe Council magistrate. He was also an honorary Alderman, a governor of Vine Tree school and president of the United Northwest.
A service to celebrate the life of Les will be held in St. Andrew’s Church, Crewe on Friday 28th February at 10.15am, followed by cremation at Crewe Crematorium.
Donations in memory of Les will be gratefully received on behalf of Dementia UK and Cancer Research.
