“You are no more than a thought away.”
Peacefully in the care of Leighton Hospital, Ann Passed away on the 2nd of February, aged 81 years. A much love mum, grandma and dear sister. Ann was a resident of Beechmere before the tragic fire.
Ann was born on Friday, the 27th of January 1939 in Crewe to proud parents Louisa and Jack. Ann was one of 10 children and is survived by three, Doreen, William and Marjorie.
She went to school at Crewe Green and after leaving school she joined the Royal Air Force station at Hack Green, better known as the secret bunker. It was there that she met her husband and they had one son, Jonathan. She was also very close to her daughter-in-law, Adele and cherished her grandchildren, Noah and Hamish. Her family described her as being a kind, loving person, hard-working but most of all dedicated to her family. Her favourite time of year was Christmas, the family would get together and Joanne, her niece would join in the festive activities. It is with a sense of great sadness they say goodbye to Ann, keeping all their memories close to them.
Her funeral will take place on Thursday 13th February in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe, at 1pm, followed by cremation. donations in memory of Ann are welcome to The British Heart Founation.
