Lisa Dutton
Funeral date: 9th of September 2022
I’m in the moon and in the stars, But never really far away, and always always I’m there inside your heart.
Lisa passed away at The Christie Hospital on 25th August aged 51 years.
The devoted Mum of Mary-Kate and Annie and much loved Daughter, Sister and Fierce Friend.
Who will be dearly missed and remembered forever.
Lisa was such a vibrant, vivid character with a kaleidoscope of colour in the portrait
of her life. She was adored by everyone she met but of course as well as her loving
parents, she loved her brother Robert and his partner Joanne and her nieces. She
cherished her daughters, Mary-Kate and Annie – and whilst in hospital she was
thrilled to hear the news she had been waiting for – Mary-Kate and Callum engaged
at last and she thought the world of her golden boy, otherwise known as Annie’s
partner Tommy.
Sheila specifically asked to thank Lisa’s cousins Janet and Christina and their
families who have been a huge support and thanks also to the fiercely protective and
loyal friends who were amazingly supportive to Lisa and the family since her
diagnosis but beyond that too. You all know who you are.
Thanks to Lisa’s colleagues far and wide and for the many touching tributes received
and gratitude to some neighbours who have kept a keen eye on Lisa’s property,
keeping the front garden neat and tidy.
Lisa had a real passion for music and totally immersed herself in the mood of the
track and truly felt lyrics, I loved the gorgeous, compact, retro and brightly coloured
record player on the side table with a stack of LP’s underneath! Such an eclectic
taste including Doris Day and Frank Sinatra!
Poem: Written by Lisa’s friend
Another Friend taken today
A legend gone too soon
Shine up in the sky Lisa
Like the stars and the moon
Nights won’t be the same
One missing in the crowd
But we will raise a glass
And shout your name out loud
Your ladies will miss you
Those Ego Cocktail nights
But one thing is for sure
We’ll put the world to rights
Talking about the good times
The laughter and the tears
Your lifetime of memories
For the 51 of your years
So night god bless Lisa
Always in our hearts
We all send our love to you
As your life in heaven starts
Memories were shared by Robert, Mary-Kate and Annie and friends of Lisa.
A service to celebrate Lisa’s life will take place on Friday 9th September at 12.15pm at Crewe Crematorium Chapel followed by cremation.
