Margaret Rose Wilson

Margaret sadly passed away in St. Stephen’s nursing home, Elworth on 14th April, aged 64 years.
She was born on New Year’s Eve in 1953 in Middlewich and was named after Princess Margaret.
One of four children, she has two sisters and a brother, all of whom she was very close to.
Margaret attended Middlewich Junior school and then Sandbach Secondary school.
Margaret was very musical when she was younger and both her and her sister Janet received certificates from the Royal College of Music. She enjoyed playing the piano and accordian.
Margaret met her future husband, Barry, at the local social club in Sandbach where she used to go most Saturday evening, eventually getting married on 14th June 1975 at the Wesley Avenue Chapel.
Margaret was a skilled sewing machinist, working for a time in Congleton with Janet before eventually joining a company in Sandbach called Sutex.
She enjoyed her leisure time, particularly music and line-dancing. Margaret and Barry loved travelling and one of their favourite places was the Isle of Wight, they also travelled further afield, especially cruising to places such as California, Egypt and various European countries.
Her funeral will take place on Thursday 26th April in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 12noon.
