Peacefully at Leighton Hospital on the 24th September, aged 84 years. The loving wife of the late Patrick, dearest mum of Michael and the late Ian, cherished grandma and great grandma, who is loved and remembered with affection by all who knew her. Ann’s funeral will take place on Thursday 3rd October in St Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception RC Church at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in Crewe Cemetery.
Mary was born in DunDonald, Aryshire on 21st July 1935. She met and married Patrick and they spent 54 happy years together. They came to Crewe in the 60’s because of the railway. Together they had two sons, Michael and the late Ian, four grandchildren – Kelly-Marie, Kimberley, Andrew and Liam and four great grandchildren – Phoebe, Isabella, Emily and Georgie.
Dear Michael and family. We are so saddened by the news of Ann’s passing. Wish we could be there at this time but know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Your Mum was such a special lady and will be sadly missed. My mom will always have such fond memories of her wee sister. I am so glad that I met her, Uncle Pat and Ian on our trip. Love to you all.
