Trish sadly passed away on 22nd May in the care of Leighton Hospital, aged 76 years.
The beloved wife of Bob. Devoted mother of Carl, Nigel, Adele and Lorna. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Claudia, Alex, Becky, Kaitlin, Harrison and Ella and great grandmother of Ruby. Also a dearest sister of Eileen and Lesley.
Trish was born in Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne to proud parents Mary and Leslie Wheatcroft. Upon moving to Crewe she attended Ludford Street School.
After finishing school her working career took her to the local clothes factory of Chester Barrie, Kwiksave and The Bear’s Paw at Warmingham.
Trish liked reading, but her real passion was darts. She played in the local league for The Pioneers, The Brunel and The Delamere Arms and represented Cheshire, she even beat Maureen Flowers, one of the top professional woman players in the world and partner to Eric Bristow! She was also had green fingers, once winning the Best Show Garden on Leighton Park.
Trish and Bob were members of The Caravan Club but they also enjoyed holidays abroad, a particular favourite place being Fuerteventura.
She was a caring, courageous, fun-loving lady. Her family said that she bring instant light to a darkened room and her and Bob spent 43 happy years together. Trish will be so sadly missed but lovingly remembered by everyone she knew.
Her funeral will take place on Friday 7th June in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 11.20am, followed by cremation.
