Maureen was born on Friday, the 11th of September 1938 in Flag Lane, Crewe to parents Cissy and Ted Parsons. She attended Brierley Street school and enjoyed it very much. She later went on to start work at County Clothes, then on to Densem’s in town and General Relays.
