Life is a song – sing it. Life is a game – play it. Life is a challenge – meet it. Life is a
dream – realise it. Life is a sacrifice – offer it. Life is love – enjoy it, if everyone
takes anything from today, it is these few bits of advice that epitomise how Morgan played the cards he was dealt.
He was and always will be an amazing inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The Man: Read by Sharron
From birth, life threw a lot of tough things at Morgan, but he never let them get him
down or stop him enjoying life. One of the only people we know to wake up with a
smile each morning and want to be on the move.
His zest for life was infectious, he lived life to the full. He only knew one gear and
that was Morgan gear – full speed in to everything. He has crammed a lot into his life
– holidays abroad, motorcycling, camping (he particularly loved being out in the
motorhome), trips away, going out for walks and days out. Bath time was his
favourite, the bathroom suffered frequent flooding, but Morgan had a whale of a time.
We rarely escaped ‘monkey tickles’ at bedtime – he loved the sensation of monkey
tickling his arms, legs, basically all over his body.
A big fan of Youtube – his favourite video was Lincoln Level Crossing – Neil and I
would roll our eyes, smile and say to each other ‘that man’s gonna be sat there for a
while’ (You have to watch it to know what we’re on about).
He had a smile that brightened any room. Those who were lucky enough to receive a
‘Morgan cuddle’, knew that it was a pure, heartfelt and genuine.
A giggle that warmed you and made you smile – he loved chaos – the more chaos the
better, especially where feeding the birds was concerned.
A wicked sense of humour (he got that from his dad!!). Sharing his youtube videos
with us by casting it to the television and laughing as he did it because he knew it
would interrupt what we were trying to watch.
He was determined and knew his own mind and what he wanted. Understandably,
he would get frustrated in trying to express himself sometimes – we called these his
‘passionate’ moments, grab and smash was a favourite.
A throwing specialist – his glasses were always first to go – we lost a few on the way –
in lakes, rivers and marina’s – we believe there must be some fish with improved
vision.
The biggest shock we had recently was how tall he was. He had to be measured 4
times as nobody could believe it; 6 ft who would have thought?
Morgan, one of the happiest young men we have ever had the pleasure of knowing
and Neil and I are very proud and honoured to have been his mum and dad. Thank
you, Morgan, for all of the wonderful memories we had together. We love you son
more than words can say, you will forever be in our hearts.

May he rest in peace
