"Nothing on earth will ever replace the sound of your voice or the smile on your face."

Date passed: 13th of March 2018

Funeral date: 27th of March 2018

“Nothing on earth will ever replace the sound of your voice or the smile on your face”

Meg passed away peacefully in Leighton hospital on the 13th March, aged 69 years. The beloved wife of the late Arthur, a cherished mum to Ben and his partner Claire and a good friend. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.

Meg was born in Crewe, to parents Laura and Tom Fearnall. she had three brothers Gary, Paul and Glyn.  She attended Sale/Altincham all girls boarding school and returned home at the weekends to The Wilbraham Arms. Her parents wanted her to have the best education and give her a good start in life. After leaving school she worked as a secretary for eighteen months but left to pursue a career at Slack and Mickle garage where she met Arthur. After a number of years she left to work as a care worker for Cheshire East.

Meg and Arthur had two sons and spent many happy years together. They renovated a cottage in Haughton. Then moved to various houses in the Crewe area due to Meg’s job for social services. In later life, they both moved to work at Wrenbury Mill Boat Centre.  Arthur was base manager and Meg shop manager where they stayed until retirement. They bought a static caravan in Anglesey where they enjoyed many weekends with  Ben and Claire and their dogs Bertie and Jack. Meg would enjoy a nice glass of with Claire, spending an afternoon on the speed boats. She loved cooking, was always up for a laugh, an animal lover and loved nothing more than a day out with all the minis. In later years taking her dogs for long walks with her neighbour and friend Jodie.

Megs funeral will take place on Tuesday 27th March at 10am in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe, followed by cremation.

Megan… I am going to miss you so very much, I already am. I miss our walks and our talks, I miss your company and our laughs. Don’t worry, we are looking after Alfie and Beth, they are still getting their walks but they don’t feel the same without you. Gosh I miss you! I broke my phone just before you left us and I lost all your messages, I just wish I had one to read just so I could see the ending ……hugs xx
I had so much to say, but now I’ve come to write it I can’t think of anything. You will always be my loyal friend and I will always be yours. I love you always ……hugs xxx
