Reginald George Robinson “Reg”
"Don't cry because it is over. Smile be it happened."
Date passed: 3rd of November 2020
Funeral date: 16th of November 2020
“Don’t cry because it is over. Smile because it happened.”
The beloved husband of the late Marian, much loved dad of Jan and David, also a cherished grandad, great grandad, brother and uncle, Reg will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Reg & Marian were Londoners & both Jan & David were also born there but in 1967 they moved to Ray Avenue where they were all very fond of & were popular there.
Family was very important to Reg & holiday’s, Christmases & special occasions are filled with very fond memories. Christmas was his favourite time of the year & he was affectionally known as ‘Mr Christmas’ & made it magical for everyone.
Reg was also very close to his son-in-law & daughter-in-law & Reg & Marian were immensely proud of their four grandchildren & Reg loved his only great-grandchild.
In 2011 when his dear wife Marian passed away, Reg carved a new life pulling his family even closer together. He had time for everyone, never let people down & if you were lucky enough to have known Reggie you knew you had a friend for life.
Reg being one of life’s true gentlemen, passed away in the care of Leighton Hospital on the 3rd November, aged 92 years.
His funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s parish church, Nantwich at 11.15am on Monday 16th November, followed by cremation at Crewe crematorium.
