Devastated to hear this sad news. I became a friend of Robs through working at Byrons. Rob came in most days. We are all devastated to hear the news. What a great bloke he was. Fabulous sense of humour. My thoughts to all his family and all of his friends. Much love Rob. X

- Approved by oconnellShocked and sad to hear this news. I grew up in the same street as Robert and we used to play together at each other’s houses and in the streets around Madeley St. I lost contact with the family when I left Crewe. Was a great friend in our early years. Condolences to all the family. R.I.P. Rob.
