Ronald Sidney Gregory

“As long as we live, he too will live. For he is now a part of us, as we remember him.”

Ron passed away suddenly in Leighton Hospital on the 10th February, aged 80 years. The beloved husband of Sylvia. Also a loving dad, grandad and great grandad, who will be remembered with affection by all his family and friends. Ronald and Sylvia were together for 58 years and had two children, John and Antony. Also seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Ron was brother to Ann, Carol and John.

He was born on Friday 29th September 1939 in Crewe to parents Sarah and Ronald. He attended Bedford Street School and after leaving school started work in The Crewe Works. Later working in Rollermakers and as Underwood West School Care Taker. Ron enjoyed having a pint in The Junction and playing darts and dominoes for The Cumberland and he loved his holidays to Spain, Bournmouth and Cornwall. He had a jolly, bubbly character and he loved life.

Ron’s funeral will take place onFriday 21st February in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 10.45am. Donations are welcome in his memory to The Stroke Association.
