Terence George Eaton “Terry”

“We are so proud of you. We will miss you forever.”

Terry passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital with his family by his side on 25th September, aged 85 years.

The beloved husband of Edith. Dearest dad of Ann and David and father-in-law of Ken. Cherished grandad of Lucas, Hannah, Ana-Maria and Callum. Also a loving great grandad of Matilda. Terry will be sadly missed and remembered with affection by all who knew him.

Born in Crewe, he attended Bedford Street school before going on to do his national service. After this he went on to work in Crewe Works and for the Post Office.

He enjoyed playing football, he was a handy goalkeeper. He loved his dogs and also kept birds in an aviary. He enjoyed a drink of whisky and holidays played a big part in family life, travelling all over the world. Europe and Brazil were particular favourite destinations.

Terry’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 8th October in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 1.20pm, followed by cremation.
