“There is no night without the dawn, no winter without the spring.”

Teresa was a really good friend lasting almost 40 years, we spent many years together in our 20’s helping each other out, dancing to northern soul/Motown, she was always there when I needed her. Over the later years we didn’t see a lot of each other & losing touch at one point. She loved her family more than anything, so happy to call Teresa my best friend. She will be truly missed, a life bravely fought but taken to soon. XXX

    Mum,

Whilst I’ve had you for an extra 13 years I know that being reunited with Kevin was your ultimate goal. I’ve watched you suffer for years and have felt helpless knowing that nothing that I could have done would have eased your suffering. I will miss you dearly and I will find it so difficult knowing that you’re not on the other end of the phone when I need you. The boys have been so lucky to have you in their lives, and I will make sure that your memory will live on through them.

I hope I did you proud, making sure that your final days were comfortable and that you are pleased that dad and I have been able to make all of your wishes come true.

Sleep tight with the angels mum, and hold Kevin tight. But remember, “this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later”.

    All my love
    Your baby – Gemma x x x
