William “Billy” Jackson

“You showed us how to love and smile.”

Billy sadly passed away on 20th July in Cypress Court nursing home, aged 77 years.

The beloved husband of the late Margaret, to whom he was married for 46 years. The devoted father of Neil and his wife Nicola and a loving grandfather of Beckie, Bradley and Louis. Also a cherished brother of Mae, Pat and Marg. Billy will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.

Billy was born on Sunday 1st March 1942 in St. Helens. After his education he went on to serve the Post Office for 48 years.

He loved watching rugby and was a very fit man, he was still running at the age of 70! He always loved his holidays and over the years he travelled over most of the world. Billy was a comical, fun-loving and kind-hearted person.

Billy’s funeral will take place on Monday 29th July in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe at 12noon, followed by cremation.
